The laboratories of Physics, Chemistry and Biology that exist in Arsakeia Schools in Thessaloniki are housed in specially-designed and fully-equipped rooms. In these labs, teachers are enabled to carry out their lesson on the aforementioned subjects using practical methods and, in parallel, students are allowed to do group work (lab capacity: 30 students per class).

According to our school’s philosophy, experiments arouse the students’ interest and help students correlate scientific theories with practical applications. They also enable them to become fully-acquainted with theory, allow them to develop their observational skills and, finally, give them the chance to compare different scientific facts and draw conclusions.

Arsakeio Elementary school disposes of a fully-equipped Physical Sciences lab where students of 5^th and 6^th grade carry out experiments using plain material while they observe and explain physical phenomena that relate to the subject of ‘Researching and Discovering’ taught at school. In this way, science becomes easier for students to grasp and handle in everyday life.

As for Arsakeio Junior and Senior High Schools, there are two labs in use.

1. A Physics and Chemistry lab fully-equipped with instruments and consumable materials, with water supply, and a feed of multiple electrical direct and alternating current. This lab also disposes of modern audiovisual means and Internet connection to help carry out the lesson more effectively in class. Experiments on Mechanics, Electromagnetics, Thermodynamics, Optics and various other Chemistry subjects are also carried out in this lab.
2. A Biology lab fully-equipped with various types of microscopes and a collection of permanent preparations, proplasms and lab instruments. This lab is exclusively used for Biology experiments. 

Apart from laboratory projects enforced by the Ministry of Education, many other experiments are also carried out in these labs. These experiments are carefully arranged and conducted by the teacher responsible for each lab and science teachers in general aided by the lab assistant.
