The significant position of the Arsakeia - Tositseia Schools in the Greek education and their notable beneficial service to nation and society, led to the recognition of the Arsakeia - Tositseia Schools as equivalent  to the State Schools.

The “Upper Schools” of  The Society for the Promotion of Education and Learning (Philekpaideutiki Etaireia)  were recognized as equivalent to the State Schools for the first time in 1861 and in 1936 were incorporated in the workforce of the State education into Teaching Academies.

Moreover, the degrees of each grade issued by the Arsakeia-Tositseia Schools are equivalent to those of the State Schools. The educational and the administrative personnel of the institution have the same benefits with those who work in the public education sector and receive state pensions.

The above-mentioned practices constitute the institutional significance of the Arsakeia-Tositseia Schools, which proves that the state recognizes the remarkable contribution of the Schools in the educational development of the Nation.
